Located in the heart of Amman on the 6th roundabout, the Crowne Plaza Ramadan Tent iftar will not disappoint. Contrary to former years, the traditional outdoor buffet has now been placed inside a humongous tent to keep you warm as the temperature has had massive drops in the evenings.

Aside from the creative displays that range within an array of endless salads and desserts, lie great live cooking stations from the hotels culinary team.

The pasta live cooking station serves a mouthwatering Alfredo tagliatelle with fresh oregano as well as a Mediterranean penne with sun dried tomatoes and olives.

The Mexican station creates delicious chicken Quesadillas served with Guacamole and Sour Cream, followed by an Asian station with your favorite wok cooked Chinese variations.

You can’t go wrong with the rotisserie chicken that is browned to perfection while retaining the juiciness of the flavorful meat. There is also a Shawerma station in the same corner that will not disappoint.

But the hidden gem of the night? Boneless tandoori chicken that bursts with flavors and is soft, make sure to enjoy with some of the fresh pita bread from the bread station.

Overall, it was a great experience. Ramadan juices and water available at all tables, and for those who would like to enjoy an Argeeleh after Iftar or during the play, one can be ordered. If you’re pregnant and would like good ventilation away from the Argeeleh just let them know so you’re sitting more towards the entrance and the exist, as it can get pretty heavy and uncomfortable.
