<p>You cannot go into a restaurant for a BBQ or traditional arabic food without ordering it first.</p>
<p>Many people shy away from making it at home, but trust me it&#8217;s easier than you think.</p>
<p>This recipe provides tabouleh in measurement cups. Why?</p>
<p>For beginners I find it easier than listing the ingredients as  certain number of vegetables.</p>

<li>Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and run under cold water until cools down</li>
<li>Mix all salad ingredients together with cold pasta thoroughly</li>
<li>Add salad dressing to mix and enjoy</li>

<p><strong>Salad Ingredients</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2 cups lettuce cut into bite size pieces</li>
<li>3 medium tomatoes chopped</li>
<li>4 radishes sliced</li>
<li>2 spring onions sliced</li>
<li>1 cup watercress (do not pre-wash, always wash before use to retain freshness)</li>
<li>¼ cup mint leaves</li>
<li>¼ cup Rocca leaves</li>
<li>1 cup fried Arabic pita bread (cut into equal squares and fry or bake)</li>
<li>1 small red onion sliced finely</li>
<li>¼ cup olive oil</li>
<li>2 tablespoons of sumac</li>
<li>Salt/pepper to taste</li>
<li>2 TBSP pomegranate molasses</li>
<li>1 TBSP dried mint</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>In a bowl whisk olive oil, pomegranate molasses, sumac, dried mint, and salt/pepper</li>
<li>In another bowl, mix all other ingredient except bread and toss together</li>
<li>Top the fattoush salad with the dressing, and garnish with bread</li>
<li>Serve immediately</li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is something about grilled vegetables that has me digging for second and even third helpings. Personally, I would only dig into a salad if it was bursting with flavors, and when I made this Halloumi Salad at home I was instantly in love with the delicious Mediterranean flavors of this dish.<span id="more-4615"></span></p>
<p>To prepare you will need the following</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>1 small red onion finely sliced</li>
<li>5 TBSP of Extra Virgin Olive Oil</li>
<li>1 red bell pepper sliced thinly</li>
<li>1 yellow bell pepper sliced thinly</li>
<li>3 – 4 medium sized firm tomatoes, sliced</li>
<li>A pack of Halloumi cheese thickly sliced</li>
<li>Fresh Basil Leaves</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Direction:</strong></p>
<p>Drizzle your Grill Pan with some Olive Oil and add the peppers and tomatoes. I used the GRILLA by IKEA, a personal favorite in my kitchen.</p>

<p>Once grilled nicely and fragrant turn to the other side….</p>
<p>Arrange the sliced tomatoes on a platter first, and top with the roasted peppers.</p>
<p>Then place the halloumi cheese for a minute until each side has golden brown stripes and arrange on top of the peppers</p>
<p>Garnish with Onions and basil leaves and season with the remaining olive oil.</p>

<p>3 medium cucumbers peeled<br />
1 medium carrot peeled<br />
6 Sticks Imitation Crab<br />
2 Tablespoons Panko Crumbs</p>

<p><strong><em>For Dressing</em></strong></p>
<p>¼ Cup Kewpie Mayonnaise<br />
1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar<br />
1 Tablespoon Lime<br />
½ Teaspoon Sugar<br />
½ Teaspoon Paprika<br />
A dash of salt</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Add all dressing ingredients to a bowl and whisk gently in to a fork until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly together. Set aside.<br />
Cut both cucumbers and carrots julienne; which is cutting your veggies super thin, think as thin as a matchstick<br />
You can cut your imitation crab julienne as well personally I give mine a spin in the food processor for three seconds on low speed, I like mine shredded finely<br />
Mix all salad ingredients together, and then add the dressing. Mix well and serve.</p>
