Ingredients
- 3 eggs, room temp
- 1 TBSP Vanilla
- 200 grams softened butter
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ TBSP Salt
- 4 TSP Baking Powder
- 3 cups green zaatar, washed with water squeezed out of it
- 3 cups white cheese, unsalted, and cut into cubes
Directions
- Beat softened butter until creamy, add eggs and vanilla.
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder, then add in the zaatar and cheese to the flour mix.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the mixture until well incorporated.
- Using an ice cream scooper for equal sized rolls or even a spoon, scoop on to a tray covered with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes or until golden brown tops.
