Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar (If you have a sweet tooth go up to 1 cup)
  • 1 stick butter (100 grams), melted
  • 3 TSP Almond Extract
  • 2 TSP Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Slivered Almonds, lightly toasted
  • 3 Eggs, room temperature
  • ½ TSP Salt
  • 2 ¾ Cups Flour
  • 1 ½ TSP Baking Powder

Directions

  • Stir sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract in a bowl.
  • Mix flour, salt, almond, and baking powder.
  • Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients in a stand mixer or using your hand mixer.
  • Chill dough for 30 – 40 minutes in your fridge.
  • Roll out dough on a slightly floured surface, and divide into three loaves.
  • Bake on parchment paper in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden.
  • Take out of the oven and let them cool for 15 – 20 minutes. Then cut into equal slices.
  • Bake the slices again for 15 – 20 minutes until golden brown.
