Ingredients
- ¾ cup sugar (If you have a sweet tooth go up to 1 cup)
- 1 stick butter (100 grams), melted
- 3 TSP Almond Extract
- 2 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Slivered Almonds, lightly toasted
- 3 Eggs, room temperature
- ½ TSP Salt
- 2 ¾ Cups Flour
- 1 ½ TSP Baking Powder
Directions
- Stir sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract in a bowl.
- Mix flour, salt, almond, and baking powder.
- Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients in a stand mixer or using your hand mixer.
- Chill dough for 30 – 40 minutes in your fridge.
- Roll out dough on a slightly floured surface, and divide into three loaves.
- Bake on parchment paper in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Take out of the oven and let them cool for 15 – 20 minutes. Then cut into equal slices.
- Bake the slices again for 15 – 20 minutes until golden brown.
