Chili Hotdogs

- 1 Large Onion, diced finely
- 500 grams minced beef
- 3 – 4 TBSP Tex-mex Chili Spices pack
- 1 – 2 TBSP Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Cup Water

If you don’t have Chili Spices, make your own:

- 1 TBSP Chili Powder
- 1/2 TSP Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cumin
- 1/4 Salt
- 1/2 TSP Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 TSP Garlic Powder
- 1/4 TSP cayenne pepper (optional, don’t recommend if serving to kids)
- 1/4 TSP All Spice
- 1/4 TSP Sugar

Assembly Ingredients
- Beef or Turkey Hot-dogs
- Fresh Hot dog Buns
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Mustard (Optional)
- Onions (Optional
- Kidney Beans (Optional)
Directions
- Cook onions in some vegetable oil until soft, add beef and season with spices.
- Mix until browned and add tomato paste, and water.
- Simmer until tender around 20 minutes.
To assemble heat a bun on a grill (optional)
- Grill hot-dogs on both sides.
- Add hot-dog to a sliced bun.
- Top with a hint of mustard then chili and cheddar cheese.
- Add any other desired toppings.
- Broil until cheese melts.
