Nothing beats freshly made Chicken Escalope’s I personally cannot stand the frozen ones and would opt out for homemade ones any given day. I tried a simple trick by changing the traditional bread crumbs to something else, and it was a winner.


  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs Beaten
  • 1 KG Chicken Breasts sliced thin (Makes around 8 servings)
  • 2 Cups Panko Crumbs
  • Salt/Pepper to Taste
  • 1 TBSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 TBSP Onion Powder
  • 1 TBSP Smoked Paprika


  • Season Chicken Breasts with Salt/Pepper.
  • Set three bowls, the first bowl has flour with salt/pepper. The second bowl has beaten eggs. The final bowl has a mixture of Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Smoked Paprika, and Panko Crumbs.


  • Place each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the Panko Crumbs mixture. Repeat until all are well coated.


  • Fry in some oil until both sides are golden brown, or for healthier version of the same dish, place on baking sheet and cook in oven
  • Enjoy with a side of fries and your favorite dipping sauces
